Between Passion and the Limit: The Story Behind "Caught in the Storm"
How do you balance a full-time job, family, and music? "Caught in the Storm" describes the moment when loving everything becomes a mental burden. An honest look at my limits and the feeling of just wanting to run away.
It’s incredibly hard to keep this triangle of music, full-time work, and family permanently in balance.
It’s very difficult to give everything equal attention without neglecting any part of it. Unfortunately, I often reach a point where it all becomes too much.
There are calm phases, but also phases where you just want to run away — just get away from everything. That’s exactly what this track is about: “Caught in the Storm.”
I love all of it — I love my family, I love my job, my employer and my colleagues, and I also love the world of producing, performing live, and everything that comes with it. But mentally, I struggle at times and reach my limits.
